Thomas Mae Land & Planning identified through its Land Researchers a site in the centre of Gloucester which had development potential.
Having identified the owners of the land who were based in the West Country, we were instructed to market the development on a subject to planning basis.
The agreed marketing process was an informal tender basis and with the house builders invited to express an interest based on experience within the local area and with a commitment to building a high quality product therefore maximising the values of the land.
As a result of the structured marketing of the land, 4 offers were presented to the vendors which included both subject to planning and unconditional offers.
Terms were subsequently agreed with a long-established local house builder and a planning application has now been submitted for 18 units including 4 apartments and 14 houses.
